Finger Lickin' Good

I installed WindowsXP today on my personal workstation, the one that I've been running FreeBSD on for over 2 years. Lemme say, it was quite an experience. HA! Get it?!

In getting ready for UberLAN this upcoming weekend, I had to get an OS onto my old Celery500 box other than my beloved FreeBSD so I can whoop some UT and Elite Force ass, and in doing so, I got to eXPerience the latest Microsoft wonder of an OS. Damn, its so damn happy and nifty! I mean, how the hell does an operating system get to be 'happy'? But, like for instance, the default wallpaper is called "Bliss", and when setting up the PC for the first time, XP plays a nice little tune in the background. And, damnit, because I could, I chose the option to "view offline" the Microsoft Product Catalogue link that was right off the main Start menu. It took almost 30 minutes to download their catalogue! Yay!

Man, with XP installed for this UberLAN, I'll finally be able to uninstall Microsoft BOB. I mean, you tell me: Bob or "Rover" the helpful "search assistant"? Looks like we have a new winner!
